Effect: Master story-teller Arthur Emerson has come up with another winner! Everyone loves a gothic mystery! Here is one filled with magic and murder, a great love, a keepsake coin and much that cannot be explained! A small wooden box is shown. Inlaid in the wood in the bottom of the box is a small heart. Explain that this box contains a rare family keepsake, a keepsake given by John to Katherine on the occasion of their first wedding anniversary. As you tell the story of John and Katherine open the box to show a single coin inside. Drop the coin on the table and show the box empty. Fold the coin up in a sheet of paper. The magic words. Unfold the paper and the coin is gone! Hand the box to a spectator to open. Inside they will find the missing coin! Keepsake is beautifully crafted in rare inlaid woods with a sliding lid which hides the clever gimmick. You can use almost any Half-Dollar size coins in the box, so foreign coins present no problem.

In addition to the above routine, Keepsake can be used as a coin production or vanish or as part of another coin routine!
