Effect: What happens when an effect created by one of my favorite magicians of all time is made by one of my favorite craftsmen of all time? You get this amazing version of Tommy Wonder’s ingenious card penetration which he called, The Carpenter’s Revenge, now made perfectly by master craftsman, Thomas Pohle.
Even those who have made a version of Tommy’s effect are impressed (and baffled) by aspects of Thomas’ model. I love how cleanly the card inserted into the thin wooden frame is handled, sliding it back and forth freely before being penetrated by the solid wooden rod. And the apparatus looks beautiful.
