One of Alan’s rarer items from his early painted period. Easy to do and very convincing with instant reset. Interestingly enough this does not work the same way as Eddy Taytelbaum’s Bomba Atomica and other similar items as the wand is 100% ungimmicked, and this makes it easier to perform too.
Effect: A card (with a hole punched in one end of it) is slipped approximately halfway into a small wooded cover. The hole in the card is lined up with a hole near the bottom of the cover and A MINIATURE WAND IS THEN PUSHED THROUGH BOTH HOLES, thus imprisoning the card inside the cover.
Nevetheless, in spite of this, the performer is able to release the card which, without any damage to the card, APPARENTLY “MELTS” THROUGH THE WAND.
AN EXTREMELY VISUAL EFFECT
SELF-CONTAINED….VERY EASY TO DO….COMPLETE WITH COVER, CARD AND WAND.
ANOTHER GREAT ‘POCKET-EFFECT’ WHICH YOU WILL ENJOY PERFORMING.
