Magic Wagon will often remake and enhance old effects and so it is nice to see them creating something that as far as I know is a unique method and routine. When I first opened this and read the method I wasn’t sure how easy it would be to perform. Then I checked out the three videos on YouTube (which is always a good sign that it is easy) and was very pleased when I tried it out.
So this is certainly a winner from Magic Wagon. It checks all the boxes and then some:
It would be nice if the box were a little smaller or the cubes were larger, but I don’t think it would work if that was the case and it is a minor point.
Great job Magic Wagon! 2021 has been a very good year so far 🙂
Effect: An ornate box is displayed and the lid is removed, allowing the interior to be shown completely empty. Three different colored “stones” are introduced and handed to a spectator. The spectator mixes the stones behind their back, and brings two of them forward. The two selected stones are dropped into the box, and the lid is closed. After a magical gesture, the lid is removed and the two colored stones are tipped out of the box. Incredibly, the two colored stones have impossibly fused together, and the box is otherwise empty. The fused stone may be completely examined. As an additional climax, the fused stone and the remaining colored stone are put back into the box together. The lid is closed, a magical gesture is performed, and when the stones are tipped out of the box, the stones have fused together into one stone containing all three colors, and the box is otherwise empty! The final fused stone may also be completely examined.
The photos really do not do justice to this very elaborate piece of magic apparatus! The entire outfit is extremely detailed and each set has been painstakingly and individually hand-crafted by our own exclusive artist. It is absolutely stunning in appearance!
Please Note: The last image shown is an example of the stones supplied. The fused lines on the stones may vary from piece to piece, as these are handmade and each has its own unique characteristics.
This is, without question, one of the finest and most exquisitely detailed effects we have ever produced! The artisanal process takes over 6 months to complete and is truly a work of art. To the best of our knowledge, this type of “Color Fusion” effect also has never been done before.
The box only, without the knob on the lid, measures approximately 10cms wide, 11.5cms high and 10cms deep. The fused stones and the one used in the climax of this effect are not simply glued or painted but have been created using the resin casting technique, therefore; the spectator can examine and feel that these stones have truly melted together.
Special thanks to Mr. Tony Curtis for coming up with the name for this effect.
