Football Paddle (Toothpick Paddle) by Horst Dieter Christ
(c. 1977) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)What a beautiful and unique paddle effect from the German craftsman Horst Dieter Christ who’s work is often mistaken for that of Eddy Taytelbaum’s.
Effect: This is Horst Dieter Christ’s version of the popular Jumping Toothpick paddle effect. In this version the paddle resembles that of a football field with five holes and the the toothpick represents a player moving up the field.
It works the same way as the toothpick version, but the use of the football design and the five holes makes it harder to explain how it works, and also adds some interesting patter possibilities.
