Drop Out by GL Magic, Magic Design
(c. 1986) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)This is a beautifully made prediction effect sold by GL Magic (Greg Lindsay) in North Carolina, and created and manufactured by Gert Hoffmann in Germany by his company Magic Design.
Effect: A machined canister with a jeweled lid is introduced along with some metal sticks, only one of which is red. There is a hole in the bottom of the canister big enough for the sticks to drop through. All of the sticks are placed in the canister, by the spectator, and the lid is put on. The canister is shaken to mix up the sticks. Finally the spectator holds out his hands. Magician shakes out a stick…it is silver…. again… silver… again…. silver… and finally… moving to the spectators other hand…the red one drops through…what mind control.

Nicely made props with some potential
This is a well made prop that allows you to choose when the odd colored bar will drop out from the hole in the bottom of the tube.
As it stands its more in the puzzle department, but if dressed up a bit I think it could be quite amazing.
