Die-Namic by Ken Allen, Werry

This effect and method is exactly the same as Werry’s Visible Die Breakthrough that was released c. 1960. However, the gimmick that Ken sells is much better than Werry’s such that the die does not need to be switched because under normal examination nothing will be found.  So Ken’s version is preferred.

This set which is 60+ years old has some paint flaked off so ideally a little bit of touch-up on the one spot could be applied, but even as it is it is much better than Werry’s and still performable.

Effect: Every once in a while a spectacular close-up effect happens our way. We believe DIE-NAMIC is it.

Borrow a card, bill, coaster, anything, set it over the mouth of any glass. An inlaid ivory die has been set on top of the borrowed object . . . Glass is sealed. Nothing can get in or out.

Hold your hand about six inches above the die and lower it sharply. Like WOW. The die goes through the borrowed object and HOW. The die is now inside the glass and the spectator will actually swear that HE SAW THE DIE PENETRATE and drop through the object.

The sealed glass is in the hands of the spectator during the penetration. Everything can be examined. The die in the glass is not switched.
