Color Cube Release by Milson-Worth

(c. 1979) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)

This effect originally called Bloxo, was invented by John Rice and sold by Harry Stanley c. 1960.  Eddy Taytelbaum created an exquisite version which many of the modern day versions emulate because they use a rod instead of a ribbon to secure the blocks.

A classic close-up miracle built beautifully by the legendary Milson-Worth.

Effect: Six solid blocks of various colors are passed for examination and two colors selected by a spectator. All blocks are returned to a handsome, brass trimmed chest and rigidly secured by a metal skewer. The chest is closed and inverted. When the lid is opened, the selected blocks fall freely to the table while the remaining blocks remain locked firmly in placed. Chest made from walnut measures 1.25″ x 1.25″ by 3.5″.
