Coin Tube by Tricks Co., Yonezo Mikame

(c. 1980) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)

This was created by Yonezo Mikame (who shortly afterwards started Mikame Craft), but produced by Tricks Co. and I purchased it from the British Dealer Magictrix.

Effect: A well-machined aluminum-finish tube with end-ridges for pulling the two halves apart, showing the two tube halves mate by 2″ diameter-apart lugs that also go through two holes in the center of an normal playing card, which completely and fairly blocks the center opening of the tube. One by one four quarters penetrate the card.

A good improvement on this was released a few years later by Future Magic and their Guldiplex by making most of the tube transparent instead of solid aluminum.
