Coin Thru Bill by John Jurney
(c. 2017) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)This is easily the best and most original item that John Jurney has created. It is easy to do and looks amazing.
The gimmick is very well made using a Replica Morgan Dollar and comes with a duplicate to switch out during the routine which is eash to do with no real heat on you.
Effect: A Replica Morgan Dollar is examined by the spectator and they hand it back to the performer and the performed asks them for a dollar bill. This can be signed. The performer then shows how the difference between an optical illusion and real magic, and when they see the real magic – it looks 100% like the coin has penetrated the dollar bill.
Of course when the dollar bill is returned to the spectator there are no tears or rips. Really looks strong.
