Kent Bergmann is back with his amazing new line of magic: 3D Magic Works and the very positive reviews are flowing in.
This next item is Kent’s version of Box Clever which is itself based upon Marurice Fogel’s Second Spot. The props look great and as I’m starting to find out surprisingly solid and intricate!
Effect: The performer brings forward 3 unique, round, ornate boxes on decorative stands and places them in front of 3 spectators. Next the performer displays 6 disks with a different color inlay. Each spectator is then instructed to select one of the boxes and remove it from the stand. After the disks are turned color side down on the table and mixed up, the performer turns his/her back to the spectator. The spectators are then instructed to pick one of the color disks, look at the color, and place it into the box they are holding (making sure not to let the others see what color they had selected) and replace the lid of the box. Once all the spectators have replaced the lids, they are then instructed to place the box back in the stand and to slide, shuffle and mix the boxes around on the table. Once the spectators have completed all the tasks, the performer turns around. The performer explains that by simply looking at what is inside of each box, he/she can tell which spectator selected which color disk. The performer opens each box one at a time, looks at the disk and correctly identifies which spectator selected the disk inside of each box.
The included disks do not have to be used for this effect. The spectator may use any item they wish that can fit inside of the box (coin, paper clip, button, bottle cap, etc)
The light brown parts of this set are 3D printed using a beautiful filament that has been infused with genuine wood.
The shiny darker brown parts are 3D printed using a beautiful filament that has been infused with glass and coffee (for color).
