1-2-3 Blocks or China Computer (2015) by Thomas Pohle
(c. 1984,2015) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)The inventor of this effect was the German Paul Corduan (17. Februar 1894 – 4. Januar 1961). His stage name was “Doc Corten”. First sold by the German dealer Heinz Jacobi under the name “Corduan-Verwandlungswürfel” (translation: Corduan Change Dice).
Effect: Based upon the earlier version comes this beautiful effect revamped for 2015! The effect is sometimes called the China Computer. The three blocks with numbers 1-2-3 on the front are stacked in various ways but always rearrange magically in 1-2-3 order. The blocks are self-contained and mechanically clever as no shells or external pieces are used.
