The Magic Paint Palette by Ickle Pickle, Supreme Magic Company
(c. 1982,1995) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)This clever idea was invented by Edwin Hooper and first released as The Magic Painting Palette by Supreme Magic c. 1982. When you first read the instructions it doesn’t sound that great but in practice the prop works well and is very effective.
Ickle Pickle didn’t really add anything to the prop but they did appear to start producing them around the time Supreme Magic went out of business c. 1993, which was lucky for Hank Lee as subsequent catalogs didn’t miss a beat, they just dropped the words “Imported from England” between the 1990 and 1995 catalogs 🙂
It works very well with items like Visible Picture Painting or Magic Coloring Book.
Effect: A Paint Palette with four colors (red, blue, green and yellow) is shown. You dab at the colors with your brush and instantly when the Palette is shown once again to the audience the colors are GONE!
