In 1939 the Englishman Harry Leat invented what became one of the best and most enduring children’s effect of all time, to read more about the routine for this classic effect click here.
I have been performing different versions of Run Rabbit Run for over 40 years. It has never failed to drive the kids wild. Some of the versions I have used have been poor, but most have been good enough. But none of them come close to this new item from Chance Wolf over in the Hen Coop at Wolf’s Magic. Wow, does this unit work smoothly and look at those vibrant colors (my photos don’t even get close to doing this amazing piece of work justice).
Chance Wolf makes Magic the way it should be made – this truly will last a lifetime and the moving parts are perfect. The Running Wolf slider is incredibly smooth – and easy to operate with one hand. All the controls are right where you want them. The doors even stay closed using tiny magnets.
Did I say how vibrant the colors are? The routine makes perfect sense too. One of the problems with the original Run Rabbit Run is you have this fairly basic prop and you have to make up a story as to what it represents. Jack Hughes’ Run Bonzo Run was the first version that I am aware of that tried to have a richer theme around the basic idea. There have been others since then – one of my favorites is the poorly made, but still effective, Run Cookie Monster Run from Hank Lee. But with Run Wolf Run Chance has come up with the perfect story and rationalization for why the Wolf keeps running back and forth.
Effect: The classic plot has been changed and now stars our very own “Wacky Wolf” as the mischievous “Egg Bandit” who raids the Chicken Coop trying to steal eggs to pay his back rent! How else do you think a Wolf pays his rent? With the help from the kids, the Wacky Wolf can never seem to catch a break as he is caught by the kids running back and forth, popping up and down from his house and peaking out from the side of the Coop! All along the magician never seems to see the Wolf and his antics. Eventually, ALL 4 DOORS are opened as the magician tries to find the Wolf only to find he has VANISHED! After the kids have settled down from Laughter and Screaming, the Wolf is finally found hiding in the Magicians pocket or anywhere you prefer!
Mechanically inspired by the Classic “Run Bonzo Run” created by the late great Jack Hughes. We have taken this effect and created a a prop that is Visually and Mechanically SUPERIOR to any “Run rabbit Run” type effect in magic history!
FEATURES:
Alumi-Core Structure: CNC Machined from and Aluminum Surface/Nylon Core material with an Enamel Baked Finish. Assuring a long lasting, corrosion free prop.
Digitally Printed Graphics: All artwork has been Hand Drawn by Chance Wolf himself and digitally colored. Finally, the art is digitally printed into a rich colored decal and laminated making it nearly indestructible!!
Custom Pivot Arm Assembly: The Pivot Arm Mechanism, which is what makes the Wolf travel back and forth, was custom designed by Chance Wolf giving you the SMOOTHEST operation you have ever seen. We use a Nylon Sleeve Bushing which travels along a 3/16″ diameter Rod. Solid as a Rock and ready to roll!
7″ Tall Wacky Wolf Cut Outs: We made the Wacky Wolf taller than any other version. He stands at 7″ Tall, 1/8″ Thick and is easily visible with his Multi-Color Graphics!
POP-UP Wolf!: We’ve added a NEW FEATURE not seen in typical “Run Rabbit Run” effects. The “Pop-Up Wolf”. You can POP the Wolf up above the roof of his house at any time which adds another “Look No See” dynamic to this effect!!
Peaking Wolf: The Peaking Wolf” features smooth mechanics and a Rubber Cap covering the Thumb Lever for a comfortable grip.
Rare Earth Magnetic Door Latches: We have embedded Rare Earth Magnets which gives a maintenance free door latching method.
Complete Operating and Routine Instructions included.
Size: 23″ Wide x 12″ Tall x 1″ Thick

The Absolute Perfect Kids Effect!
I have been performing different versions of Harry Leat’s Masterpiece: Run Rabbit Run for over 30 years. It has never failed to drive the kids wild. Some of the versions I have used have been poor, but most have been good enough. But none of them come close to this new item from Chance Wolf over in the Hen Coop at Wolf’s Magic. So from the smoothness, the colors, the routine, and all the little touches, there is no doubt in my mind this is truly is The Absolute Perfect Kids Effect!
The first run sold out faster than the Wolf could run back to his home, but a second run is being built as we speak. Even if you aren’t a kids performer get one of these beauties.
Thank-you Chance for waving your magic wand over this classic.
Most Highly Recommended!

Smooth running!
Chance Wolf has done it again! "Run Wolf Run" is smooth! It’s not only smooth working… but has smooth artwork… and above all a smooth routine. This piece is built with perfectionism by a true artist. The colors are vibrant and bold… the artwork is stunning… and the worksmanship is masterful. I will proudly perform… and display "Run Wolf Run"… and the kids will absolutely "cry wolf" over it!

Run Wolf Run 2
I have Run Wolf Run 2. It looks better than Run Wolf Run. The graphics are more three dimensional and it is a bit thinner too. It works beautifully and even though big, can be held in one hand and also worked on a table too. Chance is not making them right now so I feel fortunate to get one. I would never sell it at any price.
For this effect as in any Run Rabbit Run Product, I recommend practice. It does not do the entertaining for you. You have to put time into developing a good routine and presentation for it. It has always received a great reaction from my audiences. Highly recommended if you can get one. Nothing comes close to the visuals and smooth operation and this can be done at a Birthday party but is big enough for Stage as well.
