This is a rarely seen version from Supreme Magic perfect for Halloween. A book cover is shown on which is printed GHOST STORY. Magician tells the children of an old castle which was supposed to be haunted by ‘Harry the Happy Ghost’.
Effect: The castle is shown, a well-made prop solidly constructed in metal. A finely engineered product, built to last a lifetime, and decorated just like a castle, with light grey stonework and wooden colour doors. Made and lacquered in Supreme style. Magician states that he doesn’t believe in ghosts. Whilst he is talking, one peeps around the edge of one of the doors. A funny-looking gawky creature, ethereal white! There’s fun galore with the ghost moving from one side to the other, before the magician catches him. Magician states that he will make the ghost DISAPPEAR with the aid of a magic word. However, the children lose no time in telling the magician that the ghost has simply moved from one side of the castle to the other. THEY SEE HIM GLIDING ALONG’, When the magician looks in the other side, he swiftly glides back again, peeking at the magician around the side’.
THE KIDS SCREAM WITH EXCITEMENT AND DELIGHT AT HIS NAUGHTY ANTICS LAUGHS! LAUGHS! LAUGHS! FINALLY, THE GHOST DOES VANISH COMPLETELY.
Magician takes up the book of ghost stories saying, “WELL, I DON’T BELIEVE IN GHOSTS ANYWAY!” Whilst he is saying this, Harry POPS UP AND DOWN FROM THE BOOK COVER, before being seen and popped back into the castle to continue his hauntings some other day.
