Victorian Single Deck Box (with flap) by Dave Powell
(c. 2017) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)Wow this card box is so thin – you really can’t believe it can hold a full deck in it’s case. Some real fine work by the amazing Dave Powell for sure. It makes a great companion to Dave’s Two Deck Box, which is also amazingly small. Looks beautiful and with the loose flap you can perform all of the miracles you can do with a regular card box, often twice the size.
Effect: This is a precision designed card box. Simply stated. You will never find a card box this thin. The box is just a hair over 3/4 inch thick.
It actually looks like the box is too thin to contain the deck but it holds an entire Bicycle Deck of Poker size cards in the case. Its a perfect illusion of size. Solid walnut with brass hinges.
It comes with a secret fitted walnut flap to perform many illusions and card or prediction changes but honestly i just use it to hold and take out my cards for a beautiful presentation.
