Ultimate Card Trick by Jack Ruda

Another great cards item from Jack Ruda. For people who hate card tricks!!

Effect: A wooden stand is displayed with the five cards that represent (?) the most common cards picked in all pick-a-card tricks. It has been estimated, with the advent of the computer, that if you ask someone to pick a card, at least one billion times, these are the most common cards that come up. But since I hate card tricks, lets carry this effect one step further. Five envelopes are presented and a card is placed in each one of the envelopes.

The envelopes are then sealed and shuffled so that no one knows where any one card is. These five envelopes are now handed out to five different spectators in the audience. A predication is read stating that one individual will be holding the (name a card). Obviously embarrassed, you explain that you read the prediction too soon, as all the cards are out and obviously one individual is holding the card you mentioned. Now you ask four people to return their envelopes to you and, believe it or not, the remaining person is holding the selected, predicted card.
