Spreadwave by Mathieu Bich

(c. 2006) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)

Effect: A blank pack of cards is cleanly shown on both sides, any card is named by a spectator – the cards when spread, now mysteriously spell the named card. This trick is so clean, so impressive and so baffling, yet it requires no sleight of hand. Supplied with the necessary special pack of cards and online tuition.

This trick won Mathieu Bich the invention prize at the 2006 FISM magic convention, it also went on to earn him much acclaim as in 2013 he used it to Fool Penn & Teller in their famous TV show.
