Professional Grade Reverse Svengali Deck by Steven Perry, Stevens Magic

This is basically the same as the normal Svengali Deck, however it is reversed.  This means you riffle it in the opposite direction to show all the cards the same and vice-versa.  What is useful about this approach is you can drop cards face-up and they are all different.  It is useful to have both versions as you never know which set you want.  For the Paul Curry effect below the Reverse Svengali is better for a cleaner experience.

These are made by Steven Perry who is a professional card mechanic and does an amazing job for just a few dollars more.  These are not bulk manufactured, each deck is made by hand with meticulous attention to quality control and precision.

Effect: There are so many effects with the Svengali Deck and a good place to start is the trusty Encyclopedia of Card Tricks.  Here is the basic description of the Paul Curry effect I have just started to perform (unfortunately I have been unable to recall where I read this so far).

A deck is shown to be all different and the spectator chooses any card (force card).  The deck is cut and the cut is completed and then the cards are dealt into two piles.  The spectator freely chooses any pile and the chosen pile is shuffled and dealt again into two piles.  This is repeated until just one card is left.  Even though the spectator chooses precisely each time which pile to discard they always end up with their chosen card.
