Jumbo Stop Trick by Val Evans

This is a version of Val Evans’ Stop Trick. The full title of this effect is Val Evans’ Stop Trick of Tomorrow invented by Val Evans (stage name Harry Valcarte) and released by Chas. Eastman c. 1934. The rights were sold to Art Emerson who in turn sold them to Viking Mfg.

This is a Jumbo Card version made in Oak from England.

Effect: A card is chosen (no force) from the Jumbo deck of cards and returned to the deck which is shuffled. The cards are then placed into the houlette and the magician takes them out one by one placing them on the ledge at the front of the houlette. At any time the spectator can say stop and the next card taken which the spectator can remove if desired is their chosen card.
