This effect was created by Lubor Fiedler c. 1978 and originally sold by Austrian magic dealer: Michael Hitzel. Then distributed by Supreme c. 1980 and Howard Schwarzman.
Effect: A 100% visual Jumbo-card mystery performed in a devilishly ingenious manner. The performer displays three cards, two with regular blue backs, one which is marked with a bright red border. The red card jumps to the centre of the deck and back again, without cover of any kind! The cards are counted and now red card vanishes to appear in the pocket. Finally, all three cards instantly and visibly change to red ones. No Rough & Smooth, No Strippers, No long and short, No extra cards, No false counts! The specially produced cards do all the work for you.
Many thanks for Fiedler’s , ‘Flying Color Cards’. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought of anything so ingenious . Most impressive Is the fact that one can get a visual change when the card is held at a short distance from the spectator.
(Peter Warlock – Magigram,, July 1980)

David Copperfield has this!
I bought directly from the inventor when I met him in Germany. He told me that David Copperfield also bought this. The method is really clever and ingenious ….

You would not believe the work on these cards — way behind whatever you are thinking. It’s refreshing to see a monte effect that is strikingly different than what all the other magicians do.
A wonderful performance can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zyodd1vBbu8&feature=youtu.be
