Double Signed Torn and Restored Card by Charles McPherson
(c. 2000) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)Effect: A deck of card is ribbon-spread on the table. A spectator selects any card from the spread. She signs her name across the face. The magi signs his name across the back. The magi’s hands are absolutely empty when he folds the card back and forth to weaken the cardboard. The card is then torn into four pieces; each piece shown separately. With just a squeeze, all of the pieces magically become restored.
