The Caught Card by Mark Leveridge
(c. 1987) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)Effect: Three cards are shown, a Court Card (the prisoner) and two indifferent cards, (the guards.) All three have a small hole punched through one end. The three cards are quite apparently threaded onto a length of ribbon and are given to a spectator to hold. The performer pulls the ribbon away, carrying with it the two “guard” cards. The spectator is left with the prisoner, who has escaped from the ribbon. Clever idea; easy to do. You receive instructions, special cards, and ribbon.
