(c. 1976) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)Effect: Tricks Co. have combined a three-card monte with a card frame to produce a bit of handy magic that will really astound you. You show a nicely decorated card frame, and insert a card into it, which the audience sees as a Jack of Hearts. With the card (a jumbo size) nicely in the frame, you offer them a fan of three cards, asking somebody to choose the one that matches the one they saw go into the frame. They remove what they believe to be a Jack of Hearts, but you then withdraw a Three of Clubs from the frame! Hey! What happened? “That’s strange,” you say. “Would you look at the card you selected? That’s right, it’s the Three of Clubs!
