Card off Ribbon by Unknown

Effect: A deck of cards which has the middle piece of every card removed is shown. The cards are given to the spectator to freely shuffle and choose any card (no force). The card is replaced and the deck is fairly shuffled again. A long piece of ribbon is threaded through all of the cards and the spectator’s card is clearly seen in the middle of the deck and threaded on the ribbon.

The deck is covered with a hanky and in a flash the spectator’s chosen card is retrieved from beneath the hanky without any tears and the rest of the deck is still hanging from the ribbon.
