Card Capture by Max Londono

(c. 1976) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)

This effect was invented by Max Londono (inventor of the Milk in Light Bulb effect).

Effect: Max Londono has a real flair for finding a magical need and then filling it! Here you have the easiest, flashiest, most commercial “Card-in-Wallet” type effect in a while.  A signed card vanishes (poof!) from the deck.

Instantaneously you can bring forth a black bag with its top sealed tightly with a rubber band. Inside the bag is the very card that was selected and signed, but it is encased between two sheets of clear plexiglass!

Eight rubber bands are around the package, and the spectator himself can remove these to retrieve his card. Your audiences and friends will be dumbfounded at the speed with which this effect can be accomplished. No deck supplied.
