This is a beautifully made teak prediction box from Magic Wagon. The prediction method is well hidden and quite devious. However, I’m not sure predicting a card is what I would use this box for – there are already so many ways to predict chosen cards already. A better usage would be to predict something much less expected.
One example would be to load up the box with letters or shapes or icons and have a spectator choose (say) 3 different symbols. Then use that as your prediction. That would be a lot stronger and not really any harder to perform. It might take some research online to find the correct shapes or symbols but I think the effort would be worth it to turn this into the miracle it could be.
Just a shame to have such a big and beautiful box to reveal a chosen or thought of card 🙁
Effect: A spectator is invited to call out the name of ANY card in a deck, even the Joker! Let’s say they name the Seven of Hearts. The performer then shows both hands completely empty, tips the box and which allows a worded prediction to fall out of the slot in the box onto the table. To everyone’s surprise, the prediction from inside the box is the Seven of Hearts! It is a stunning and inexplicable effect.
Due to the elaborate mechanical method involved, the manufacturing processes takes over 25 hours to create just one ACCF Prediction Box.
Any Card Call For Prediction Box has to be one of the strongest mentalism effects we have ever produced!
The box measures approximately 5 1/4 inches wide x 3 inches high x 6 inches deep and has been completely handcrafted from natural aged teak wood with a lightly distressed oil finish.
Other close-up items like a deck of cards, a sharpie, etc. can be stored inside and freely removed from the box. Please note that these items are not included.
