Golden Shell by Joker Magic
(c. 2009) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)This is a wonderful effect by Joker Magic. Made very well and easy to do.
The best video I could find was from Magic Patagonia – Roberto really nails it by adding the 3 colored dice and golden ring for the end. By watching Magic Patagonia I came up with my variation and created four special colored dice for the effect and the handling could not be simpler.

- Golden Shell
- Four custom made color dice (bonus)
Effect: The magician shows a golden shell to the audience, a white “pearl” can be seen inside. He rubs the “pearl” with his fingers and it becomes blue! Another rub and it changes to red, and then finally the “pearl” turns gold in color. At the end of the trick the shell can be examined by the audience, and no matter how they rub it, nothing will change.
No electronics involved.
