Black and White Surprise by Per Clausen

One of the cleanest Per Clausen effects available which is easy to do with multiple phases.  It is based upon the effect from Sam Dalal called Rainbow Chips using plastic chips.

The two playing cards were my addition, but I really like them and it makes the effect easier and more amazing in my opinion.  I include a set to use if you want to 🙂

Effect: In one hand the magician has a white brass chip, the other hand a black one. Both hands are closed and the chips change places. This is repeated a number of times. The spectators are convinced the chips are black on one side and white on the other.

The Performer now shows two color cards: blue and yellow. He takes the blue card and places it between the two chips and now when the chips are separated one of the chips has turned to blue. The same thing happens when the yellow card is placed between the chips.

For a kicker finale the two cards are turned over and one has a red dot and the other a green dot, and now when the chips are turned over they now have red and green colors two with no sign of the black and white colors. The chips and cards can be handed out to be examined and there is nothing to find.

Can be completely examined at the finish of the effect. Nothing has to be secretly palmed away. This one works itself if you follow the simple directions.
