Sword and Die by Tricks Co.
(c. 1976) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)This is a very clean die and sword penetration from Tricks Co. and their creative powerhouse Toshio Akanuma. What I particularly like about is the subtle use of the four and how it is used to add the extra convincer that the die is very firmly impaled by the sword.
This is one of the best items from Tricks Co. and they are getting harder to find an these days.
Effect: A die is shown and put into an oblong box which has two windows. A sword is put through the box so that it penetrates the die and thus holds it captive. The performer causes the die to escape from the sword and it falls free from the box.
