Reflect-O (Done With Mirrors) by Per Clausen

(c. 2002) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)

This is basically the same chips as Black and White Surprise but the chips turn into mirrors instead of colors at the end. The basic same moves and gimmicks are effectively used but the mirrors are a bigger surprise and make for a great ending.

Effect: Explain how many folks think that magic tricks are done with mirrors. Offer a demonstration. Bring out two brass poker chips. One is red and the other is green. In addition, display a small hand mirror (mirrored plastic not glass).

Using the mirror, you are able to trap the reflection of each color and transport to the other chip. The red chip changes to green, and the green to red! Once again, trap the colors, and in the mirror and transport them back! You can repeat this color trapping several times, but the audience is less than impressed as they assume the chips are red on one side and green on the other 🙁

In the end, the colors totally disappear – both sides of both chips become mirrored surfaces!  The appearance of the mirrors at the end is completely unexpected and a total surprise 🙂

Can be completely examined at the finish of the effect. Nothing has to be secretly palmed away. This one works itself if you follow the simple directions.

Manufactured in Europe by master craftsmen. Packaged in a foam-filled jewelry box.
