Victorian Two Deck Card Switching Box by Dave Powell
(c. 2017) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)It is hard to keep a good man down and Dave Powell is always thinking of new ways to apply his unique skills. There are lots of full deck switching devices but none of the are as elegant or as simple to use. If you need to switch a deck right there in the open I think this is about as good as you are going to get and you’ll do so with style too. Maybe these wooden boxes are not for everyone, but if you are wood lover like me this will quickly become your go to switching device.

Effect: This is the thinnest most elegant two deck box ever designed ! When you see it in person you will simply not believe it holds two decks at once.

The performer places a small wooden box on the table in full view. He then asks the spectator to think of and name any card. This is a completely free choice and the spectator can change his mind if he wants.
The magician then removes a deck of cards from a beautiful Victorian Card Box. He states that only one card is missing from the deck leaving the deck with only 51 cards. The spectator then counts the cards face up counting them off one by one and finds that there are indeed only 51 cards and his card is the missing one. Over the last few years there have been all sorts of deck switching devices come out but none of the are as elegant or as simple to use. If you need to switch a deck right there in the open I think this is about as good as you are going to get and you’ll do so with style too. Maybe these wooden boxes are not for everyone, but if you are wood lover like me this will quickly become your go to switching device.

This little gem from Dave Powell can perform some serious magic. You can switch decks, you can perform revelations, you can also reveal hidden items. Is it worth the money, I would say yes. Dave is currently only making 12 of these and I would suggest if you want one, get it now at Powell magic.com I have 2 other switching devices in my collection, but, I cannot do an entire deck with the case of cards. Dave has solved this issue in my switching devices. If you can afford one, I would get is soon.
