Hole Card/Whole Card by Steve Dusheck
(c. 1977) (Submit Review) (Submit Update)Effect: This is a quickie but a pleasant interlude for the close-up worker who doesn’t have to say “Take a card, count X number of piles” – ad nauseum! You are furnished with two vinyl window cases. One is black and the other red. The empty red case is placed upon the table. The black case shows a card with a circular hole in its center (about the size of a quarter). The second card is under the hole card and its face shows through the hole.
This latter card (the whole card) is removed from the black case and placed over the hole card and both cards are removed together. Then both cards are turned backs up and the bottom card is placed in the red folder clearly showing the red case through a hole. The two cards magically change places!
